Natural Treatment of Skin Fungi From Athlete’s Foot Treatment to Ringworm Treatment
Skin Fungi
Indian medicine has proven that the medicinal benefits found in the Neem leaf can greatly help to control these common fungi that attack the body in several different ways. For men, jock itch is frequent and can be very uncomfortable and for women, yeast infections caused by an overgrowth of the Candida yeast. Both are highly treatable with the Neem extract that comes in several different forms such as powder, capsules and creams. Found in India, the Neem plant has different compounds such as gendunin and nimbidol that stop the fungi from growing and spreading. Other compounds found in the Neem leaf that are found to be beneficial are flavanoids called quercetins.
Fungi itself can be quite harmful if left untreated. For example, the skin fungi that normally causes athletes foot can also infect the hair, nails and skin. The fungi that cause ringworm can affect the skin and nails as well, and Trichsporon, a more serious form of fungi can cause harm to the intestinal tract. In fact, fungi can affect all different areas of the body such as the lungs, mucous membranes and bronchial tract making it much more difficult to treat.

Flat Foot – Do I Really Have One
What is a Flat Foot?
A flat foot is known medically as pes planus. This occurs when the rounded arch on the inner side of the sole of the foot does not exist…or disappears and collapses upon standing. It is the most common reason many doctors prescribe arch supports. There are two main recognized types of flat foot.
1. In the first, flexible flat foot, the arch disappears when standing, but an arch can be seen when the pressure is released or the foot is at rest.
2. In the second, rigid flat foot, no rounded arch can be seen even when the foot is at rest.
The Problem of Athlete’s Foot
Athlete’s foot is one of the most common foot problems that Americans deal with every day. Whether you are the college athlete of the year or the village gardener, athlete’s foot can affect anyone.
Athlete’s foot is an infection on the skin of the feet that is caused by fungus. The culprit is the fungus called tinea pedis, which is quite common in the surrounding areas. This fungus practically lives and grows everywhere just as long as the area is warm and moist.
They can be found lounging around in areas where there is moisture such as in locker rooms in college gyms, the swimming pool area, the bathroom, and even the classiest spa houses in the country.
This love for moisture is the reason why the fungus just loves the environment inside your footwear especially rubber shoes that are not often aired out and dried properly. And remember this, once the fungus inhabit your shoes, it will be really hard to make it go away. But how does this fungus get into your shoes?
